Junior wide receiver Emanuel Ross caught a pair of touchdown passes and the defense allowed under 100 yards of offense to lead the Caseys (3-0, 2-0) to a definitive victory over the Eagles (2-1, 1-1).

Sophomore quarterback Frankie Williams threw touchdowns of 17 and 38 yards to Ross and also tossed a 15-yard touchdown pass to senior wideout Najih Rahman. Senior running back Torin Harmon had a 4-yard touchdown run and senior running back Sabino Portella had a 14-yard touchdown run. Senior Robert Stolfa made several impact plays on special teams, one of which was a long punt return to set up a touchdown, and also had a 41-yard catch to set up a score.

Williams completed 10 of 12 passes for 168 yards and three touchdowns.

No. 5 Donovan Catholic 35, No. 6 Manalapan 6

Freshman running back Najee Calhoun ran for 114 yards and three touchdowns on 18 carries and sophomore wide receiver Michael Thomas III caught six passes for 78 yards and a touchdown as the Griffins (3-0, 2-0) rolled to a victory over the Braves (2-2, 0-2).

Elijah Davis added 68 yards rushing and a touchdown and junior quarterback Todd Lambertson threw for 112 yards and a touchdown.

Senior quarterback Matt Grzejka scored on a short touchdown run on the final play of the game to account for Manalapan's touchdown.

Sophomore quarterback Owen O'Toole completed 15 of 23 passes for 223 yards and five touchdowns as the Bulldogs (1-2, 1-1) surged past the Crimson Knights (0-2, 0-2) to give head coach Jeremy Schulte his first career victory.

Junior wide receiver Nick Rigby caught five passes for 74 yards and two touchdowns, junior running back Alastair Orr caught three passes for 46 yards and a touchdown, junior wide receiver Sean Trinder caught two passes for 31 yards and a touchdown, and junior tight end Markus Brown hauled in a 26-yard touchdown reception. Senior running back Brayden Dill ran for 36 yards and a touchdown on six carries.

Anthony Gartz had two touchdown runs and John McCurry had a 30-yard touchdown catch for Wall.

No. 2 Toms River North 64, Central 0

Southern 7, No. 7 Long Branch 0

A second-quarter touchdown run was all the Rams (2-1, 1-1) needed as their defense stifled Long Branch's explosive offense and forced four turnovers to stun the Green Wave.

Junior defensive lineman Armando Sanchez and sophomore linebacker Cole Cramer each had two sacks and two tackles for loss to help hold Long Branch (1-2, 1-1) to just 52 yards rushing on 22 carries (2.4 ypc). Andy Falletta, Xander Murray, and Dom Crisalli intercepted passes and Sanchez had a fumble recovery. Crisalli's interception came in the end zone with under a minute left in the game to clinch the victory.

Junior quarterback Luke Sheehan tossed four touchdown passes and seniors Jack Lopez and Peter Dempsey led the way on defense to send Middletown North (2-1, 2-0) to a victory over Lacey (0-3, 0-2).

Sheehan fired touchdown passes to four different receivers with Dempsey, Derek Soto, Ka'Ley Spearman, and Dylan Briggs each hauling in touchdown receptions. Lopez had multiple sacks and tackles for loss on defense and Dempsey also recorded a sack.

Colts Neck 15, No. 8 Jackson Memorial 7

Junior running back Chris Scully ran for a touchdown with 2.9 seconds left in regulation to snap a 7-7 tie and lift the Cougars (2-1, 2-0) to a dramatic upset victory over the Jaguars (2-1, 1-1) in the first-ever regular-season meeting between the two programs.

The game was scoreless heading into the fourth quarter until Scully ran for a touchdown to give Colts Neck a 7-0 lead with 9:26 left in the fourth quarter. Jackson answered on a 3-yard touchdown run by senior running back Aidan Sweeney to tie the game 7-7.

Scully finished with 120 yards rushing and two touchdowns on 24 carries to lead Colts Neck.

Sweeney ran for 80 yards and a touchdown and senior quarterback Tai Mann completed 11 of 14 passes for 103 yards and ran for 47 yards on 19 carries.

Junior quarterback Mark Augello tossed two touchdown passes and ran for another to lead the Patriots (2-2, 1-1) to their fifth straight victory over the rival Rebels (1-2, 0-2).

Augello threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to junior wideout Shawn Corchado and a 30-yard touchdown pass to sophomore running back Chase Enlow before rushing for a 12-yard score to give Freehold Township a 19-7 halftime lead. Enlow added a 1-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.

Brandon Wright ran for a 2-yard touchdown and caught a touchdown pass from Egan Nelms to account for both of Howell's trips to the end zone.

Senior quarterback Tyler Douglas accounted for 473 yards of offense and seven total touchdowns to lead the Spartans (3-0, 2-0) to a high-octane victory over the Mustangs (1-2, 1-1).

Douglas, who is verbally committed to Temple University, completed 16 of 21 passes for 308 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 165 yards and three touchdowns on 18 carries. He threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to senior tight end Shane Garrett and had touchdown passes of 33, 33, and 65 to senior wide receiver Mateo Andrews.

Andrews caught five passes for 158 yards and three touchdowns and Garrett caught four passes for 110 yards and a touchdown.

Brick Memorial junior quarterback Connor Dietz threw for over 300 yards and totaled four touchdowns. He threw a 76-yard touchdown pass to senior wide receiver Elijah Benjamin and a 74-yard touchdown pass to sophomore running back Kevin Andrews. Andrews also came through with a 98-yard kickoff return touchdown and returned another kickoff over 90 yards down to the Ocean 4-yard line.

Red Bank 31, Toms River South 12

Senior running back Connor Cilento ran for 108 yards and two touchdowns on just two carries and also intercepted a pass on defense as the Panthers (3-0, 2-0) continued their high-scoring ways with a dominant victory over the Hornets (0-3, 0-2).

Junior running back Jake Croce ran for 105 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries and junior quarterback Matt Oliphant ran for a touchdown and threw a touchdown pass to Eric Anilonis.

Senior linebacker Maddox Samaritano made seven tackles and senior linebacker Tyler Gordon and sophomore nose guard Slade Samaritano each made six tackles to lead the defense.

Point Boro led 41-3 at halftime.

St. John Vianney 30, Monmouth 0

Senior Kyle Verriest had a 30-yard touchdown catch and an interception return for a touchdown and senior quarterback Aaron VanTrease ran for two touchdowns and threw another to lead the Lancers (3-1, 2-0) to a dominant victory over the Falcons (1-2, 0-2).

Jack Farah had a blocked punt that went out of the end zone for a safety. The SJV defense limited Monmouth to just two first downs and held standout running back Julian Jones under 100 yards after he had totaled 382 yards over the first two games.

Toms River East 14, Pinelands 6

Sophomore running back Colin Palumbo rushed for 166 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries and sophomore quarterback Am'ir Martinez accounted for 176 total yards and two touchdowns to power the Huskies (2-1, 2-0) past the Hawks (2-1, 1-1).

Martinez completed 7 of 10 passes for 85 yards with one touchdown and one interception and ran for 91 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. Freshman Welman Crooms caught four passes for 59 yards and a touchdown and senior Jake Ziibbell kicked a 26-yard field goal.

Matawan led 23-6 at halftime.

Aidan Lunn threw an 80-yard touchdown pass to Tyrone Benjamin for Manchester's touchdown. Eli Casalan and Dante Mortellite each recorded three tackles for loss on defense.

Senior running back JoJo Bivins ran for two touchdowns and junior quarterback Jake Harashniki added a touchdown run in the fourth quarter as the Bengals (2-1, 2-0) blanked the Lions (1-2, 0-2).

The Rockets (3-0, 2-0) picked up a huge road win over the Warriors (0-2, 0-2) by scoring in the first overtime period and then stopping a 2-point conversion pass after Manasquan also scored on its overtime possession.

Manasquan took an immediate 7-0 lead when senior running back Jhamier Howard returned the opening kickoff 88 yards for a touchdown. Raritan answered on its first offensive possession when senior slot back Dan Calicari broke free for a 33-yard touchdown run.

Howard gave Manasquan a 14-7 lead in the second quarter with a 45-yard touchdown run and the Warriors took that lead into halftime.

Raritan tied the score at 14 when Logan Goldsberry threw a 50-yard touchdown pass to Jayden Craft. The Rockets then took a 21-14 lead on a 1-yard touchdown run by senior running back Kieran Falzon with 8:27 left in regulation. Manasquan was able to tie the game at 21 when senior running back Torey Falkinburg scored with 3:09 left in the fourth quarter.

The Blue Devils (2-1, 2-0) won in convincing fashion over the Titans (0-3, 0-2) to give head coach Mark Costantino his 200th career win.

Junior running back Nazir Treadwell took a screen pass 62 yards for a touchdown with 60 seconds left in the fourth quarter to cap an instant classic and give the Red Raiders (2-1, 2-0) a wild victory over the Garnet Gulls (1-2, 1-1).

Treadwell had four total touchdowns on the afternoon, scoring on runs of 4, 65, and 3 yards in addition to his go-ahead touchdown reception.

Treadwell's 4-yard touchdown run gave Keyport a 7-0 lead early in the first quarter. Point Beach tied the game 7-7 when senior quarterback Joey Beley connected with senior tight end Jackson Killian for a 21-yard touchdown. Keyport answered on Treadwell's 65-yard touchdown to take a 13-7 lead with 1:44 left in the first half.

Point Beach took a 14-13 lead in the third quarter when backup quarterback Thomas Wagner scored on a 1-yard sneak. Beley was momentarily out of the game with an injury but returned shortly after. Beach's lead grew to 16-13 when Keyport was flagged for an intentional grounding penalty in the end zone, which resulted in a safety. Midway through the fourth quarter, a 24-yard gain by Jake Mullins set up Roman Grauso for a 1-yard touchdown that gave the Garnet Gulls a 23-13 lead.

Keyport's comeback began when Treadwell scored on a 3-yard run with 5:05 left. The Red Raiders then took a 26-23 lead when junior wide receiver Mike Ford hauled in a 36-yard touchdown in double coverage on a pass from Roman Blanks with 1:39 on the clock.

Point Beach came right back to retake the lead when Beley found Mullins out of the backfield for a 79-yard touchdown that gave the Gulls a 30-26 lead with 1:19 left. Keyport then took the lead one final time on Treadwell's touchdown catch and Ford clinched the win with his conference-leading fifth interception of the season with 22 seconds left.
