Mumbai, May 29: The countdown to the IPL 2022 final has now begun. The Rajasthan Royals (GT vs RR) final against the Gujarat Titans will be played today (Sunday) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The final will be preceded by a concluding event for which Bollywood actors will be present. It is also reported that Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be present for the final. For the security of the Union Home Minister and other VIPs who will be present for the IPL final, 6,000 security guards have been deployed at the Narendra Modi Stadium and the entire stadium has been turned into a camp. According to media reports, 5,000 police constables and 1,000 homards have been deployed for the IPL finals. Meanwhile, 17 DCPs, 4 DIGs, 28 ACPs, 51 police inspectors and 268 sub-inspectors will be deployed for security. Narendra Modi Stadium is the largest cricket stadium in the world. As many as 1 lakh 10 thousand spectators are expected to watch the IPL final. This is to ensure that no untoward incidents take place during the match. Rahman and actor Ranveer Singh will be participating. Choreographer Shamak Davar has directed this program. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. The event has also changed the timing of the IPL finals. The final toss will now take place at 7.30 pm. The match will start at 8 pm.
